The interactions between Pickles (our dog) and Charles (the resident dog) has been very humorous! To see two dogs who think they are top dog run in circles around a fire pit for ten minutes with no one dog walking away victorious, enlightens one to the destruction that pride leads too. I hope that we remain thankful and therefore lacking in pride.
After an awesome night tonight at the Loft, I was worn out. But in my spirit I am very excited about what we are doing. I hope all of you remember to bring your change over the next four weeks so that we can give it to a family in need over the holidays. Also remember that you can write letters or Christmas cards to the family if you would like. It is a great way to truly bless someone!
I am very proud of all of you and hope that you continue to get rid of the "stinketh" and let God into ALL areas of you life!
I recently saw post on Twitter, someone saying that they would never trust a man who did not have a limp. I was immediately blown away by that statement and how true it really is. As Jacob wrestled and came out with a limp, we must all wrestle with God. We must truly find what our heart believes and let it profoundly effect the way we walk for the rest of our lives! My hope is that your heart has found that profound belief to be in Jesus.
